Mycoplasma testing

Mycoplasma is a common contaminant of cultured cells. Cells infected with mycoplasma in many cases look normal but can express changes in protein synthesis, metabolism, growth, DNA and RNA synthesis, etc. We use a sensitive real-time quantitative PCR method that detects the following Mycoplasma and Acholeplasma species: M. arginine, M. fermentans, M. hominis, M. hyorhinis, M. pirum, M. salivarium, M. orale and A. laidlawi.
The cost is 130 EUR for one sample, 115 EUR for samples 2-5 and 75 EUR for each additional sample after 5. |
